Installing on HarmonyOS (HarmonyOS 5 / NEXT)

The HarmonyOS card gives you the Android build. HarmonyOS 5 and later ('NEXT') no longer runs Android apps directly: you first install 卓易通 (Droitong) from Huawei's App Gallery and install the package inside that compatibility environment — whether an app installs is up to 卓易通, not something we can guarantee. HarmonyOS 4 and earlier install Android packages directly.

1. 1Install 卓易通 (Droitong) from Huawei App Gallery on the phone — on HarmonyOS 5 and later it is the environment Huawei's own guide points to for third-party apps.
2. 2Get the package onto the phone: download it in the phone's browser, or download it on a computer and send it to yourself over WeChat or QQ.
3. 3Open Files → Recent and tap the package. If the name ends in .apk.1 (forwarded files are renamed that way), long-press it, rename it to end in .apk, then tap it.
4. 4Approve the unknown-source or risk prompt once you have checked the file is the one you just downloaded, then open the app from 卓易通.

On HarmonyOS 4 and earlier (and on EMUI) Android packages install directly; if the system blocks it, open Settings → Security → More security settings → Install apps from external sources and allow the app that is doing the installing (usually Files).

On macOS, the system blocks the first launch

The download is not corrupt and this is not the wrong file. We do not hold an Apple developer signing certificate, so macOS reports that it cannot verify the developer the first time you open the app. Approve it once with the three steps below; the system remembers the choice, and double-clicking will work from then on.

1. 1Open the downloaded dmg and drag Gracelink into Applications;
2. 2Double-click it — when macOS says it cannot verify the developer, click Done;
3. 3Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, click Open Anyway, then enter your login password.

On macOS 15 and later the old right-click → Open shortcut no longer works; the Open Anyway button appears in Settings for about an hour after you first try to open the app.
